You can allow your visitors to leave comments on your website. These will be put on the bottom of the page where a visitor has left his/her comment.
To enable Comments for your website:
- Login to your Control Panel
- Click ‘Comments’
- Click ‘Comment Settings’
- Switch ‘Allow Comments’ to ‘On’
- Click ‘Save Changes’
Comments can be controlled per individual page. E.g. if you don't want comments on your homepage but you do on other pages.
The process is as follows:
- Login to your Control Panel
- Click ‘Pages’ -> Edit
- Find the page for which you want to edit the comments and click ‘Edit details’
- Scroll down and underneath ‘Allow Comments’ choose Yes/No
- Click ‘Save changes’
* Please note Comments are not an email facility. If you wish to respond in private to your visitor you would need to find their email address from the comment data in your Control Panel and then email them from your private email.
* Also please note that enabling comments might attract internet spammers. If you are experiencing a high level of spam you can protect your website by enabling the 'Captcha' feature in your settings. Click here to learn about the Captcha code and spam protection.
